Mark Emch joined the San Diego Convention Center Corporation in 1994.  As Vice President of Finance, he provides overall administrative, planning, supervision and direction for all finance, accounting, procurement, audit and most risk management activities of the Corporation.

Emch graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and received his Masters in Business Administration in 1984 from San Diego State University.  He has an extensive background in accounting and finance and was awarded the Certified Public Accountant certificate in March of 1987.

Emch is affiliated with the Government Finance Officers Association and the International Association of Venue Managers.

He is married and has two children.
