Repair Corps

Repair Corps is designed to help veterans thrive by creating healthier, safer home environments through critical repairs and improvements.

San Diego Habitat for Humanity was selected to receive funding for 9 Repair Corps homes, and is raising additional funds to complete up to 13 homes by June 30, 2013.

Fourth Avenue Rehab
Thanks to a generous donation from the Estate of Mary Garcia, Habitat is rehabbing a beautiful home in the heart of La Mesa.

Rock Street Home, SDSU College Area

Habitat returns to the City of San Diego to build one single family home for a local family in need.  Due to the small size of the lot, this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home will be two stories and will provide 1,369 square feet of living space and an attached 2-car garage. The home will be built with sustainable and recycled building materials such as denim insulation, cement fiber siding, and composite fencing.

Florida Street - Imperial Beach, CA
Habitat’s first build in Imperial Beach  will consist of 4 new single family homes modeled after our  very successful Foundation Lane homes built in El Cajon in 2009.  The homes will have three bedrooms and two bathrooms and are approximately 1,300 square feet.
