For Those Affected:
SDHFH rebuilt 21 homes
for the victims of the 2003 Wildfires and offered
discounted building materials to hundreds of families
who lost their homes in the fires from the Habitat
for Humanity ReStore. SDHFH is here to help in rebuilding
efforts once again. While immediate needs
are being addressed by local, state and federal
government organizations, as well as a number of
relief organizations, Habitat for Humanity recognizes
the call for long-term solutions to the housing
needs of families who have been affected and displaced
by natural disasters.
For families displaced by the fires, Habitat for
Humanity will be holding orientations for families
who lost their home in the fire. Please check back
soon for dates and locations or contact Shayna Hensley

San Diego Habitat for Humanity plans to re-build homes and designate families for existing Habitat for Humanity projects for those who have suffered losses by the recent fires who meet program requirements to become Habitat partner families. The effort will serve those who were uninsured or substantially underinsured and who are having difficulty obtaining the necessary financing to rebuild.

The California wildfires have been very
much on Incubus' mind lately. It's been tragic to watch so many homes go up in
flames. In San Diego and Orange County there are a number of folks who are left
without options as their homes have burned down. To help address this, Incubus
